As part of our commitment to patient care and good clinical outcomes, we offer several educational opportunities. Patient seminars are designed to give prospective patients the opportunity to learn more about obesity surgery options and speak with both clinical professionals and patients. These seminars are given by Dr. de la Cruz-Munoz.

The goals of the seminars are to educate prospective patients and their families about all aspects of Bariatric Surgery.  The advantages and disadvantages of the different surgical options are discussed. The audience is encouraged to ask questions to facilitate their understanding of the material.  The audience will also be given an opportunity to interact with postoperative patients.
